Last saved: 22 November 2007
Building on the success of two pilot training courses in 2005, the three partners have offered a third and fourth training course in North/South and cross-border co-operation. The courses are aimed at senior and middle-ranking public officials in Northern Ireland and Ireland who are operating on a cross-border basis, and there will be 30 places available on each course.
The course consists of four taught modules (with presentations and case studies). The four modules cover:
- North/South co-operation in the public and NGO sectors;
North/South public finance and governance issues;
North/South economic and business co-operation;
and cross-border co-operation at local authority and community level.
