SECONDARY EDUCATION: Citizenship and Science Exchange (CaSE) project
Last saved: 14 December 2005
The project is an 'action research' project involving 16 schools, North and South, and the research skills of Dublin City University's Department of Education. The project will use the latest ICT techniques to bring together pupils and teachers from the schools to deepen their understanding of similarities and differences between science and citizenship education in both jurisdictions. The project will centre on a shared web resource, as well as regular direct meetings between students and teachers in the selected schools. Comprehensive curriculum material has been developed for the following modules: environmental aspects (waste, water and air), food nutrition and energy.
